This may be my favorite story I’ve heard in some time. Spectral Motion, the special effects group behind the Hellboy movies, teamed up with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to provide a very special day for one special sick child. The six-year-old boy, who is currently undergoing treatment for leukemia, wanted to meet favorite hero. Who is that? None other than Hellboy! First, how cool is that?
Ron Pearlman actually donned the makeup once again and visited the boy in complete Hellboy garb. It takes Pearlman over four hours to go through the complete process. This just shows what an awesome guy Pealman is. The boy then got to hang out with Hellboy, take photos and even got put in his own Hellboy-like outfit and makeup thanks to the guys at Spectra motion.
Pretty awesome. Kudos to Ron Pearlman, Spectral Motion and all the folks who do amazing things at the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
